The Ossola Valleys

The Ossola region is made up of seven distinctive valleys, each with its own character. From the artistic heritage of the Vigezzo Valley to the alpine landscapes of Formazza, Antigorio, Divedro, Antrona and Bognanco, the area offers endless opportunities for hiking, cycling and discovering authentic mountain traditions.

The Anzasca Valley stretches to the eastern slopes of Monte Rosa, the second-highest mountain in the Alps. Dramatic landscapes, picturesque mountain villages and scenic hiking trails make this valley one of the most beautiful in the region.
